I realize that suddenly 1.6.1 is not as attractive a download as a result of the prior announcement. That said, I pushed this forward so people would have a better reason to update.
I am not storing these locally. You can get them at Sourceforge:
phpWebSite 1.6.1 Tarball/GZ md5 8022fd848ac1802a8d58958b0d28bb27
phpWebSite 1.6.1 Zip md5 64bab8edff7893bc710a717d900b79ee
Update 2:00pm
These are the new distros. They have a PageSmith fix and a fix to character encoding. Big thanks to Verdon for stumbling on the character problems. His suggestions helped find a long standing bug that I had always chalked up to UTF8 encoding. Hopefully, this will assist with mangled characters after cutting and pasting.
I am extremely distressed to announce that the version of phpwebsite 1.6.0 that was downloadable from our site has been compromised. I received an email from Lapin Andrey who discovered some, as he put it, "evil code" in the Init.php file. He was correct.
I'd really like to get some feedback. I can't promise to implement every wish, but I'd like to hear them. There are too many features to mention, but some are outlined below in the release notes. Although this is an early release, it seems pretty stable and I am using it on at least one live client site. It is probably ready to start playing with on yours.
vShop requires phpws 1.6 or better. You can get it here at the sourceforge community site.
